dailyeggprice.in answers one question quickly and honestly: what is the egg rate today, in my market? Poultry farmers deciding when to sell, traders pricing a consignment, shopkeepers setting a counter price and households working out whether today's ask is fair all need that number.
The figure itself is published by the National Egg Coordination Committee. What was missing was a place to read it that is fast, current, clear about which date it applies to, and honest about what it does and does not know.
Who runs this site
This site is built and operated by Revanth Karra, based in Hyderabad. Not a company, not a team, and not a content farm. One person who writes the pages, maintains the data pipeline and answers the email.
What this site does, and what it does not. It publishes the rates NECC has declared, with the date attached to every figure. It does not forecast prices and it does not advise anyone on when to buy or sell. Nobody can reliably predict this market, and a site that claims otherwise is guessing with your money.
The work here is making sure the number is right. My background is in production support and quality assurance on enterprise systems, where the job was incident management, monitoring, root cause analysis and keeping services reliable. That is exactly what a daily price feed needs: a figure that arrives correctly, on time, every day, and a clear notice when it does not.

What this site is not
We are not NECC, and we are not connected to it. We do not set egg prices, influence them, or represent anyone who does. We publish figures that NECC has already made public.
NECC's own rates are suggested, not binding. The committee states plainly that its prices are advisory and that it does not enforce compliance with them. The number on this site is a reference point, not a price anyone is obliged to honour.
How we try to earn trust
Every rate carries its date
If NECC has not published a revision for a market, we say so and show the date of the last confirmed rate. We never present an old figure as though it were new. A page that always claims to be current is worth less than one that tells you when it is not.
We never invent a number
If we have no confirmed rate for a market, that page says so. It does not show an estimate, an average, or a placeholder dressed up as an official figure.
Estimates are labelled as estimates
Each market page shows what you are likely to pay at a kirana shop or a supermarket. Those are derived from the wholesale rate and marked clearly. Only the NECC figure carries the Official tag.

How the site is paid for
The site carries advertising. Advertisers have no involvement in the rates published here and no influence over the content. There is nothing to buy and no account to create. The data is free to read and free to use.
